Matra Simca Rancho on the exhibition Legends 2016 — thorough optimization, consisting of small, unnoticable, but highly impactful treatments that improved car handling and comfort to an unexpected level. The only significant difference from the original version is the new luggage compartment cover. It was done, however, in the spirit of the original design which featured two different variants: a thin cover plate and a robust sleeping plate. The new cover has the subtlety of the original thin plate, yet is strong enough to function as the thicker sleeping plate.
Some oldtimers used “no name” parts that didn't fit with the car well, simply sometimes you just want to do something new that fits and looks good.
Simca 1301 S — powertrain with (reversible) modified 4-speed gearbox to 5-speed and raised engine bhp driving performance to 98 hp, which is a level corresponding to today's traffic, a cast iron engine block coating of metallised and polished aluminum.
Matra Murena 2.2S on the exhibition Legends 2015 — This car was also subjected to a thorough revision during the renovation process. Driving the car was quite a positive experience even without the optimizations. With them, every route you know will feel fresh again.
Setting and adjustment of the chassis — symmetrization of prestressing of torsion bars and coil springs. We also measure axle position, geometry alignment, or optimize values, wheel balancing, perform simple diagnostic tasks such as carburetor vacuums, measuring values in the electrical system, engine cylinder pressures, check inaccessible internal surfaces with a probe, etc.
